The Torva Chair is built around a single compelling idea: a suspended backrest. Solid timber arms reach back from the seat and support a floating back panel — held in position by the frame geometry rather than conventional back posts — creating a chair with an open, airy quality that makes it read lighter than its generous proportions suggest. The back panel meets you at exactly the right height and angle for genuine support.
Available with a solid walnut, white oak or blackened timber structure and a fully upholstered back and seat panel, the Torva is a conversation starter that also happens to be a very comfortable chair. The solid timber construction is hand-finished with an oil or lacquer coat depending on the timber selected.
